John Scott

In January 2010, John joined the law firm of Bennerotte & Associates, and continues representing clients that have been injured, working in the areas of personal injury and workers compensation. He also continues defending clients that are being criminally prosecuted in Minnesota Courts.

John, a litigation attorney in the Twin Cities for more than 14 years, has been named a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Law and Politics. He worked his way through the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law as a law clerk and investigator for law firms specializing in personal injury cases. That experience has led to his dedication to personal injury as his primary field of practice.

After becoming a licensed attorney, John worked for a law firm that focused solely on personal injury litigation, including auto accidents, medical malpractice, toxic chemical injuries, product liability, alcohol-related injuries and animal-related injuries. He opened his own law firm in 1998 and, over the next eight years, represented clients in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, business and contract dispute litigation.

John next joined the law firm of McCloud and Boedigheimer, before helping to form Boedigheimer, Horesji & Scott, P.A. He continued to represent clients in the areas of personal injury and criminal defense before joining Bennerotte and Associates.

John serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, arbitrating Minnesota No-Fault disputes.
