Tonight there will be the highest levels of traffic Minnesota may have ever experienced.

For the first time ever the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings will both be playing on their Minneapolis home fields on the opposite ends of downtown. While all this is going on the Great Minnesota Get Together is underway just a few short miles away. The Star Tribune approximated that 100,000 people will be traveling through the Minneapolis area.

Accidents happen more than ever during high traffic times.

Traffic levels will be high. The chance of an accident is higher than ever during periods such as these. Many freeways will be bumper to bumper. Many people will be running late to their beloved game and will be driving recklessly and in a hurry.
